Founder’s Vision
In many parts of the world today, the number of vulnerable women and children continues to grow due to incurable diseases, accidents, natural disasters, and ongoing economic hardships. These realities have left many families broken, with widows and children struggling to survive without the resources needed for a stable and hopeful future.
Seeing this need, our Lord Jesus Christ placed a deep burden and vision on the heart of Rev. Nicholaus Chove. With a calling rooted in faith and compassion, he stepped forward to respond to the suffering of widows, orphans, and vulnerable families. His vision was not to work alone, but to gather people who share the same heart for service and obedience to God’s calling.
The foundation of this mission is grounded in the teachings of The Bible. In Matthew 25:40, Jesus teaches that whatever we do for the least among us, we do for Him. Likewise, James 1:27 calls believers to care for widows and orphans in their time of distress.
Inspired by these scriptures, The Great Commission for Women and Children (TGCWC) was established to bring hope, compassion, and practical support to those who need it most. The vision is to serve not only physical needs—such as food, shelter, and education—but also to restore dignity, faith, and opportunity in the lives of women and children.
Through partnership, prayer, and generosity, this mission continues to grow, touching lives and building stronger communities. Together, we believe that faith in action can bring real transformation and lasting hope.
The Great Commission for Women and Children (TGCWC) is a Christian nonprofit dedicated to serving widows, orphans, and vulnerable families by providing essential support including shelter, nutritious food, healthcare assistance, educational opportunities, and clothing. Guided by the teachings of The Bible and the call to serve others found in Matthew 25:40 and James 1:27, our mission is to restore dignity, bring hope, and empower women and children to build stronger and healthier lives through faith, compassion, and partnership.

Due to the increase of incurable diseases, accidents, natural calamities, and economic challenges, women and children have been left behind and find themselves without resources.
To provide education opportunities by establishing education facilities to train widows and empower them with capital for self employment
The organization establish homes and orphanages for the support and nurturing of women and children in Africa with the goal of providing greater opportunity for the children.
GET INVOLVEDYou can get involved by either supporting the organization as whole or supporting a child of you choice.
To support local missionaries all over the world by providing equipment and finances needed for mission work in their own countries.
To organize individual and group mission trips to East Africa and other nations, including the USA, for the purposes of social awareness, orphans’ centers visit, medical missions, helping in missionary schools, exchange programs, and other projects.
To establish Bible colleges to train ministers, and to establish and support Christian schools around the world.
Basically the organization purpose is to reach widows and orphans. However, we will comfort the uncomforted with the love we ourselves have received from our LORD Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 1:3-5).
